Attracting tens of thousands of visitors, the Vietnam Cultural Festival successfully wrapped up in Wroclaw’s historic center. The high-profile event celebrated Vietnamese heritage while strengthening bilateral ties in trade, investment, and tourism.
A Vibrant Showcase of Heritage
The grand, open-air festival transformed Wroclaw’s historic center into a lively hub of Vietnamese culture. Visitors were treated to a diverse lineup of traditional arts and interactive exhibitions:
- Performances: Dynamic lion dances, quan ho folk singing, chau van ritual singing, traditional instrument showcases, and an elegant ao dai fashion show.
- Art & Craftsmanship: Dedicated exhibition areas displaying paintings, calligraphy, publications, and traditional handicrafts.
- Culinary Delights: A massive food promotion zone featuring 20 bustling stalls serving up authentic Vietnamese dishes.
Strengthening a 75-Year Friendship
The festival enjoyed strong political support, attended by high-ranking officials including Vietnamese Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai, Wroclaw Deputy Mayor Jakub Mazur, Polish Deputy Minister of Economic Development Michał Jaros, and Parliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Grzegorz Napieralski.
Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai noted that Vietnam and Poland share more than 75 years of traditional friendship. He emphasized that the 30,000-strong Vietnamese community currently living and studying in Poland acts as a vital bridge for nurturing ties.
