Perth foodies and culture lovers are in for a treat as the City of Canning’s Global Streets Festival makes its vibrant return to Bentley this April.
The free, family-friendly event promises an immersive evening filled with international flavours, live cultural performances, interactive activities, and community stalls— celebrating the diverse traditions that make up the local community.

Celebrating Local Diversity
City of Canning Mayor Patrick Hall highlighted the event’s role in bringing the community together through shared experiences.
“Canning is home to people from many cultures and backgrounds, and Global Streets Festival is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate that diversity,” Mayor Hall said. “This event brings people together through food, music and cultural experiences, allowing residents to share traditions, learn from one another and enjoy a vibrant evening with family and friends.”
Supported by Lotterywest, Camco Engineering, and Perth Airport, the festival received a $15,000 grant from Lotterywest aimed at strengthening local connections and spotlighting Western Australia’s rich multicultural fabric.
