Sydney’s festival calendar is getting an authentic flavor boost with Taste of Turkey, a vibrant weekend event bringing traditional Turkish street food, culture, and craftsmanship to Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour.
Curated by renowned chef Somer Sivrioglu (the mind behind Sydney dining favorites Efendy
and Anason
), the festival aims to showcase the rich depth of Turkish gastronomy beyond the familiar late-night döner kebab.
“There’s so much more to Turkish cuisine than the notorious late-night doner kebab! Come down and we’ll show you how amazing a REAL Turkish kebab is.”
— Somer Sivrioglu, Culinary Director
