Upcoming event on 4th July we have a special night of music, dancing friendship and celebration as we come together to honour the incredible legacy of Amera’s Palace. Sydney’s belly dancing community will come together this July for the vibrant fundraising dance party.

This event will be hosted by Farrah the Egyptian Dance artists. The evening will be an exciting blend of music, dance, and community spirit. Guests are invited to reconnect with old friends, meet new people, and share in a joyful cultural celebrations.

The dance floor will come alive with the sounds of Dj Bassel who will be spinning Arabic music throughout the night. Live drumming from Jamal will add an authentic energy, creating an atmosphere that encourages everyone to dance and celebrate.

A special guest performance by Vibha will showcase the beauty and artistry of belly dance traditions. Visitors can also browse the boutique offerings and enjoy a welcoming gathering filled with music, conversation, and cultural appreciation.

More than just a dance party, the event serves a fundraiser supporting Amera Palace. For many years, the venue has been an important home for Sydney’s Egyptian and belly dance community, hosting workshops, rehearsals and cultural events.

Shik Shak Shukran 2026 will bring a memorable evening of rhythm, celebrations and gratitude. Through music, movement, and community connection, attendees will help honour a cherished cultural space while enjoying one of Marrickville’s most uplifting dance events of the year.
