One Big Multicultural Festival Returns to Ipswich for Its Biggest Year Yet!

Ipswich is getting ready to burst with colour, rhythm, and international flavours as the One Big Multicultural Festival makes its highly anticipated return to Alexandra Park on Sunday, 30 August 2026, starting at 12:00 PM.

Organised by the award-winning charity BSC Multicultural Services in partnership with Ipswich Borough Council, this free, family-friendly event is a beloved cornerstone of the town’s summer calendar, regularly attracting over 5,000 attendees.

What to Expect

This year’s festival is set to be the largest and most ambitious edition to date, featuring:

  • Live Stage Performances: Music and dance acts from local, national, and international artists.
  • Global Cuisine: A wide variety of food stalls showcasing delicious authentic dishes from around the world.
  • Family Fun & Entertainment: A children’s funfair, face painting, and henna art.
