Coming to Sydney is a very exciting event which will be an Art gallery influenced by the rich Hindi culture. The main focus of the gallery is influenced by one of the important Gods in Hinduism. The tittle of the event is ‘Avatar: Forms of Vishnu’.

Encounter 15 centuries of art and storytelling from South and Southeast Asia celebrating the many avatars of Vishnu. The Vishnu is a Hindu deity who preserves order in the universe which will be shown in the exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW. Avatar, meaning ‘descent’ in Sanskrit, describes the many forms Vishnu takes. Vishnu takes many forms as mentioned to descend from the heavens to restore balance on earth.

The exhibition will present amazing historical and contemporary art from renowned collections in Australia. The art Gallery will be filled with tales of heroism, love and devotion and will also be including arts collection from India, Cambodia, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

This event highlights the links between the culture connections from communities across Asia and beyond. Through exploring the themes of love and justice, visitors gain a deeper understanding of the enduring significance of Vishnu’s stories. By combining ancient masterpieces it offers a captivating journey through mythology, art and spiritual mythology.
